Q: I can’t seem to order anything in the store. Every time I press the add to cart button I am sent to a page that says “Your cart contains: nothing at this time. Go shopping.”
A: To use the store you need to allow cookies in your browser. In internet explorer go to the tools menu
select internet options
select the privacy tab
make the settings Medium High
and the store should work for you.



Q: Where can I find out more information about Kid Concoctions products and services?
A: Visit our website at www.kidconcoctions.com, here you will find free sample projects and more information regarding our products and services.


Q: My Treasure Stones are too wet and are not holding their shape. What should I do?
A: Treasure Stone dough should be very stiff and should hold its shape when molded. If your dough is soupy and looks too wet, add more flour and knead until the dough is stiff and able to hold its shape.


Q: My Funny Putty isn’t working. What’s wrong?
A: Over 90% of our project and recipe questions are about Funny Putty. Funny Putty should always work as long as you are using Kid Concoctions/Plaid Gelly Glue and Sticky Stuff or Elmer’s School and Sta-Flo liquid starch. This project requires a lot of kneading. If the putty is a little sticky, add more liquid starch and knead.


Q: Is there a substitute that can be used for food coloring?
A: Yes, Kid Concoctions/ Plaid’s Liquid Color is 100% washable and can be used in place of food coloring in all non-edible projects.


Q: What is Liquid Bluing?
A: Liquid Bluing is a laundry product that can be found in the laundry detergent aisle of many grocery stores under the brand name Mrs. Stewart’s Liquid Bluing or at www.mrsstewart.com.


Q: The brand of white school glue I have isn’t working with some of the projects. What brand works best?
A: Some less expensive or watered down school glues do not work well with Kid Concoctions projects. Kid Concoctions / Plaid’s Gelly Glue or Elmer’s School glue work best with most projects.


Q: What is Liquid Starch and where can I find it?
A: Sta-Flo brand liquid starch works well with all Kid Concoctions projects. Sta-Flo liquid starch is a laundry product that can be found in the laundry detergent aisle of most grocery stores and Wal-Mart Stores nationwide. Plaid’s new Kid Concoctions Sticky Stuff works best with all Kid Concoctions projects requiring liquid starch.


Q: What is a Plastic Cable Tie and where can I find it?
A: A Plastic Cable Tie is a thin strip of plastic the permanently locks around cables or electrical cords to hold them in place. The are very inexpensive and can be purchased in bags 15-100 in the lighting/electrical department or automotive department of most discount stores.


Q: What is Borax and where can I find it?
A: Borax is a powder laundry booster that can be found in the laundry detergent aisle of most grocery stores and at all Wal-Mart Stores nationwide. It is sold in a green box under the name 20 Mule Team Borax.


Q: What is the age recommendation for Kid Concoctions books and products?
A: Kid Concoctions books and products are recommended for children ages 4-16. Adult supervision is recommended for all projects.
